Hi! I’m Julia! I own the only private PT studio in Cambridge known as Lift Fitness.
I’m also a PT running my business in the same gym right alongside the rest of the team, so I’m able to make first hand adjustments to the space to make it the best place in Cambridge for PT’s to train their clients.
My focus as a PT is mainly on building strength and confidence in my clients. This includes body positivity, a strong (and sustainable!) mindset, and finding ways to make health and fitness actually enjoyable and fun for everyone.
My focus as a gym owner is the same - creating a space where everyone is invited to participate in becoming healthy and fit- in whatever way that suits them best!
I love the diverse specialities we have of each PT in my gym- from Hyrox, to CrossFit, gymnastics, powerlifting, boxing, olympic lifting, runners, strongman, calisthenics, rehab specialists, the list goes on…
I know that health and fitness is never a “one size fits all” thing, and our diverse PT’s and clientele reflect exactly that ethos.
So, if you’re a PT, (or a person just looking to be a bit healthier), give us a shout and come by and have some fun!
Hey! I’m Alice, I’ve been training for almost 7 years now, and what started as a personal interest quickly turned into a huge part of my life. I fell in love with training, building strength, muscle and confidence through consistency and a well thought out plan.
I specialise in helping busy individuals make the most of their time with efficient, goal focused workouts. Whether your aim is to lose fat, build muscle, or simply feel stronger and more confident in your body.
I do believe fitness should enhance your life, not take over it. That’s why each person will get a fully personalised plan, tailored to fit your schedule and lifestyle.
I’m also a big believer in balance-when I’m not in the gym, you’ll find me out in nature, skiing, hiking, spending time with animals (especially cats) or eating! Movement in all forms brings me joy, and I want to help you discover that too.
Whether you’re new to fitness or looking to take your results to the next level, I’m here to guide, support and challenge you-every step of the way!
Drop me a message on my email or instagram if you like the sound of training with me and I’ll get back to you ASAP. We can have a free consultation and go from there!

Hi everyone, I’m Nathan, I have been a runner for over 5 years, and have recently started to dabble in the world of triathlon, both as a marshal and a triathlete. I come from an education background, so have worked with a wide range of people, including those with additional needs.
Coming from the world of running, I know how important it is to have someone on your side who understands the highs and lows of running, and have experienced most of the benefits running has to offer.
Knowing how important it is to give back to the running community, I became a running coach a couple of years ago to help support the behind the scenes work that runners often forget or neglect.
I would love to see more inclusivity in sport for those with additional needs, and feel that my years in education working alongside these amazing people sets me apart to help them alongside everyone else be a healthier version of themselves. I understand that every person has their own fitness goals and journey, and a one size fits all approach doesn’t work as well as the tailored approach offered from a dedicated personal trainer.
Hello! I’m Hannah and I’m a Level 3 Personal Trainer & Nutrition Adviser and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. My background in movement starts with dancing - ballet, contemporary, all that stuff and now latin social dancing. Until a few years ago, I always loved “exercise” where the goal of movement was something other than “exercise” itself (dancing for joy, hiking for nature, etc etc). Then I was introduced to a functional approach to training, which I discovered I loved and never felt like a chore.
Now, I want to pass on to others what my coaches gave to me: the gift of finding and/or cultivating an approach to fitness that you love and want to keep in your life forever. I specialise in functional movement, with the aim of our workouts being to build fitness that will help you have the energy, strength, agility and skills for a quality day-to-day. The approach, or the how we do this, depends on you.
I am also working towards an MSc in Sports and Exercise Psychology, with particular interests in motivators and barriers to exercise and strategies to overcome perfectionism. Ask me about it if you find it as fascinating as I do!
I am so excited to work with you to achieve your goals according to whichever approach to exercise works for you, including if the journey involves finding out what that is!
Hi! I'm Phil, I have a varied background from my time in the military, doing cross country running and competing for the navy, to then swapping to olympic weightlifting and competing for the navy.
Throughout that I have honed my skills as a PT specialising in strength and conditioning work. I love the process of getting people stronger safer.
If you have goals you want to hit, get in touch and we'll have a chat!
Hey, Alyx here! Having spent a lifetime so far exploring the world of competitive swimming, military fitness & sport specific coaching, my personal journey and transformation inspired me to become a PT and found Move Animus.
My mission is to make fitness & holistic health available to everyone. I prioritise strength and function over aesthetics, focusing on a balanced approach to body, mind, and spirit through training that embodies the challenges and vigour of life.
My goal is to guide you toward a healthier, more empowered life. By combining modern biohacking techniques with ancient lifestyle practices, I help people achieve wellness that lasts a lifetime.
Hi, I’m James — a UKSCA-accredited Strength & Conditioning Coach with 18 years of experience in personal training.

In addition to performance coaching, I have extensive experience in exercise referral. As the university’s GP Referral Coordinator, I worked closely with individuals and groups managing a broad spectrum of injuries and medical conditions.
Hey there, I’m Mattie! Over a decade ago, I began my fitness journey fuelled by my love for martial arts, rugby, and weight training. Exploring a variety of sports and exercises has led me to the exciting world of health and fitness.

Let’s unlock your full strength together!
Hi I’m Eddie! I’ve been a PT for over 13 years. My main focus is helping people find direction with their exercise, diet, and lifestyle, to make positive progress towards their goal.
It’s rewarding to open up someone’s potential for movement so I particularly enjoy working with people who feel limited by their age or ability.
I believe we can all feel better with a consistent exercise routine and have heard countless reports from clients feeling stronger and more confident in their body. It’s a joy to help people feel that way!
Hey everyone, I’m George! My journey to get stronger has led me to pursue a Bachelors in strength and conditioning, compete in strongman and Olympic Weightlifting, to now, where I’m studying a masters in physiotherapy.
I truly believe strength training is for everyone and can have such a positive impact on someone’s life, no matter their starting point.
It’s something I hope to be doing for the rest of my life, and maybe I can convince you to do the same. So, if you’ve never touched a barbell before or would like more direction in your training, I want to help.
Hi! I'm Sam! My fitness journey began with an intense dedication to martial arts, training in karate from the age of 5 before transitioning into Muay Thai, MMA, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where I trained daily while working full-time.
At 20, I left my job to pursue professional training in Thailand, but a serious hip injury requiring surgery forced me to rethink my path. During my rehabilitation, I discovered meditation, yoga, and barbell training, becoming a yoga instructor in 2018 and later earning advanced certifications in barbell and kettlebell coaching.
Now, I specialise in combining functional strength training, mobility work, and mindset coaching to help people of all backgrounds build strength, resilience, and balance. My tailored, sustainable approach empowers clients to overcome challenges, unlock their potential, and thrive in both body and mind.
I’m Ursula, a personal trainer and strength coach specialising in helping women build strength, lose body fat, and feel more confident in their bodies through structured, effective strength training.
My approach is centred around simple, purposeful training that delivers real results without extremes. I work with many women who feel unsure where to start or frustrated by diets, cardio-heavy routines, or exercise plans that haven’t worked for them in the past.
Rather than using generic workouts, I focus on progressive strength training, movement quality, and sustainable habits that support long-term results. Every session is tailored to the individual, whether you’re new to training or looking to take your progress further.
My goal is to help clients get stronger, move better, and build results that last in a way that fits real life.

As a Personal Trainer with over 8 years of experience training in the gym, I am passionate about helping individuals achieve their fitness goals and build a healthier lifestyle.
With 15+ years of martial arts experience, I bring a unique perspective to training that focuses on both physical strength, good health, and mental discipline.
My approach is tailored to enhance workout routines, boost confidence, and support clients at every stage of their fitness journey, whether they’re just starting out or looking to reach new heights in their performance.
Hi I’m Selma! I’m a level 4 personal trainer and have been in the industry for 13 years. My passion is everything from high intensity training to marathons and everything in between.
I mix up training routines to keep them interesting while making sure your specific goals are met and importantly that you are enjoying your sessions.
I work with a variety of people from different age groups, skill levels, and backgrounds. In a 121 session, it’s hugely important that a client’s strengths and weaknesses are taken into account. It is important to understand how the session can impact the person both physically and mentally in the short & long term.
Whether it’s weight loss or preparing for an event, it always excites me to go through the journey with my client and get results from it.
I pride myself on creating lasting relationships with my clients as we go on their fitness journey that has a positive affect on all aspects of their lives!
Hi, I'm Quidor. I am a fitness instructor, nutrition coach, and functional training enthusiast. I apply a health-first approach that balances stress management, joint function, and movement quality. The combination has helped my clients restore and maintain mobility, develop functional strength, improve performance, build muscle, and shed unwanted pounds. My purpose as a coach is to empower you to take ownership of your health and wellness so you feel younger now and just as strong in 20 years.
After 10 years of military service in the Texas Army National Guard, I decided to settle in the UK and continued my journey as a fitness professional. I served in the Signal Corps, and I sought ways to address the occupational demands of part-time Service Members: time-poor, desk-bound, physical stress, and mental load. For those working in IT, manual labour, or research roles, I understand your challenges. During those years, I studied fitness systems that are time efficient, release restriction, increase strength, and elevate performance. Whether your goal is a healthy body, lean physique, or simply to have more energy for what you love, I provide guidance and a personalized strategy to get you there.
